FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The machining zone of the WGTC-3027 is fully enclosed with isolation doors and continuous extraction, separating the hazard zone from operators during machining and emergency handling. If a pack ignites, the table travels to the blast-proof station and is sprayed with water immediately; the lifting platform then lowers the pack fully into a 304 stainless steel water tank until the flames are out and the temperature drops, after which it returns to the load/unload station. The station uses smoke and temperature sensors and can start handling within 3 seconds; tank, lifting platform and enclosure are part of the standard supply.
The WGTC-3027 runs at roughly 20 minutes per pack for milling, including loading/unloading and program touch-off. It handles packs from 800 to 2500 mm long, 600 to 1600 mm wide and 100 to 500 mm high, with a maximum load of 3000 kg. Real throughput also depends on the number of tab cuts, milling allowance, tooling and shop-floor logistics — evaluate it against your shift target and a trial cut.
Compatibility is defined by size: 800–2500 mm long, 600–1600 mm wide and 100–500 mm high, covering mainstream passenger and commercial vehicle packs. Tab positions, structural adhesive and tray design vary between brands, so a sample or drawing is needed to evaluate fixturing and programs. The WGTC-3027 reserves interfaces for CCD, 3D vision and laser line scanning to extend positioning and inspection later.
The WGT-3000G suits industrial aluminium, copper and other light alloys as well as U-PVC profiles. The WGTA-4500 and WGTB-6500 use BT30 / BT40 spindle tapers and process steel profiles, aluminium profiles, aluminium-wood composites and copper profiles.
Standard X-axis strokes are 3000 mm (WGT-3000G), 4500 mm (WGTA-4500) and 6500 mm (WGTB-6500). Longer workpieces can be handled with extended strokes built to order, evaluated against workpiece length, fixture layout and shop floor conditions.
WGT-3000G: positioning accuracy X/Y ±0.05 mm, Z ±0.02 mm, repeatability ±0.05 mm. WGTA-4500: X ±0.05 mm, Y/Z ±0.02 mm, repeatability ±0.01 mm. WGTB-6500: X ±0.05 mm, Y/Z ±0.02 mm, repeatability ±0.02 mm. The bed is stress-relief annealed and paired with imported linear guides, ball screws and servo systems.
